This week we wrap up the last of our interviews with the three podcast hosts, and we’ve saved the best for last! Docktor-Mom herself (Susan) is going to share her story with us.
As you’ll find out, Susan was diagnosed with a scoliosis in her early teens. After undergoing some basic treatment, they thought that the scoliosis had stabilized. It wasn’t until a few years later that they realized the scoliosis had gotten worse. Susan tells the story of waking up one morning after a wedding, with a rash covering her body, and all of her joints locked up. After going to the doctor, they discovered that her condition had taken a turn for the worse. Not only was she dealing with a scoliosis, but she also was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
I don’t want to steal Susan’s thunder, so you’ll have to listen to the podcast episode to find out how everything ties together. The story does have a happy ending, but the compelling part is how these health conditions changed her life. These issues forced her to change her paradigm, her diet, and ultimately led her to help start the Docktor-Mom concept. So without any further fanfare, here is Susan’s story… enjoy.
